A New Hampshire man turned himself into police after detonating 80 pounds of explosives at a gender reveal party in April.Â
Anthony Spinelli has been charged with disorderly conduct in connection with the explosion, CNN reports.Â
The explosion took place in a quarry near a concrete business. When the Tannerite, the type of explosive that was used, went off, it caused tremors. Nearby residents believed it to be an earthquake.
The attendees of the gender reveal party told Kingston Police Department investigators that they chose the location because they believed it to be safe to detonate the explosives there. Â
CNNÂ reached out to Spinelli several times, but they have yet to get a response. No attorney information was made available.
