New Music Friday is here, and there are several exciting releases to kick off your Memorial Day Weekend.
Rob49 introduced his new project, “Let Me Fly.” The project features the viral hit “WTHELLY” and the Cardi B-assisted “On Dat Money.” Across 22 tracks, Rob delivers his classic New Orleans flair. Other features include Birdman, YTB Fatt, G Herbo, Sexyy Red, and more.
Elsewhere in the Louisiana hip-hop scene, NBA Youngboy dropped his new single, “Finest.” Fans have been getting a steady dose of the rapper since his jail release. More music is expected as he gears up for his highly anticipated MASA tour, his first in years.
CMG star 42 Dugg has also come back with a new track, “We Not Done.” This single is a welcome relief for supporters of the Detroit rapper, who suggested last year that he would soon be retiring from music. Thankfully, it appears he has had a change of heart. It’s unclear whether Dugg plans to share a follow-up to his July 2024 project, “4eva Us Neva Them.” Nevertheless, “We Not Done” packs a punch.
Other artists such as Q Parker, YG, and even Bossman Dlow have released new tunes for the weekend to fit every playlist.
