Marvel fans buckle up as a new superhero series could be coming to ABC sooner rather than later.

ABC is looking to begin discussions with Marvel’s Kevin Feige about the future of a possible show.

In a statement to Deadline, ABC Entertainment president Karey Burke expressed her love for Marvel and the possibility of working on a new show for the network, stating, “We love our partners at Marvel, and we’re sad to see [‘Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D’] go, it’s been a big part of our history. We’re looking forward to working with Kevin Feige, and we’re at the very beginning of conversations with him now about what a Marvel and ABC show might look like. Right now, Marvel’s focus has been on Disney+, as it should be,” she said.

At this moment in time, Burke revealed that there have been no discussions on which characters would star in the possible broadcast show.

Marvel is showing no sign of letting up as the franchise is also producing several shows for Disney+ at the moment such as ‘The Falcon and Winter Soldier,’ ‘Loki,’ ‘She-Hulk,’ ‘Moon Knight,’ ‘Hawkeye,’ ‘WandVision,’ and ‘What If?’, Deadline reports.
