An upstate New York middle school teacher has been arrested after allegedly installing a hidden camera in a staff bathroom, a report said.
WNYT-TV reported that Patrick Morgan, 57, has been charged with 22 counts of unlawful surveillance after allegedly installing the recording device inside Sand Creek Middle School‘s staff bathroom.
Last Friday, the camera was discovered after capturing pictures of several employees inside the bathroom.
It appears that the camera had been installed for at least a few days. Investigators do not believe any students were recorded.
Morgan was placed on administrative leave after 28 years with the school district.
A judge ordered him to undergo a mental health evaluation after he was released on supervised release on Monday.
