A Newark man was arrested after being involved in a road rage incident that caused him to crash his vehicle.
An Instagram user recently posted a video of 61-year-old Tracy Robert Blackwell flashing the middle finger at another driver. Blackwell also yelled out explicit words to the driver.
Subsequently, Blackwell seemed to purposefully collide with the victims’ vehicle. Shortly thereafter, the 61-year-old lost control of his own vehicle and collided with a wall on the right shoulder of the freeway.
Nevertheless, detectives caught up with Blackwell and arrested him on Friday. He is currently being held in Alameda County Jail where he faces assault with a deadly weapon with hate crime enhancements charges.
