Nia Long seemed to have a favorable outcome in a custody settlement. The actress will get $32,500 a month in child support.
Long and her ex, Ime Udoka, have finally settled their custody battle, and according to court documents obtained by The Blast, the former couple will share joint custody of their 12-year-old son.
Long was represented by Samatha Spector who is notorious for these types of suits. The actress is giving her ex a break on child support since she herself is a high-earning actress and businesswoman.Â
According to the settlement terms, Udoka’s monthly disposable income is $465,804, and since their son resides with Long 95% of the time, the payment for child support would be $56,389. But the parties agreed on $32,500 monthly.
Long and Udoka separated in 2022 after revelations of Udoka’s involvement with a Boston Celtics staff member.
