Nick Cannon may find humor in insuring his very active testicles, but according to one of his baby mamas, his floppy take on fatherhood is no laughing matter.

Alyssa Scott recently called out Cannon for allegedly not seeing their 2-year-old daughter Halo in “over a month.” After a clip from Cannon’s May 1st appearance on the “Tea Time with Raven & Miranda” podcast went viral, where he discussed taking out a $10 million insurance policy on his testicles, Scott reposted it on her Instagram Story with sharp criticism.
“Ha ha haaa Funny. Any plans on seeing your child? It’s been over a month @nickcannon,” she wrote. “But good to know she’ll get some of your $ if anything happens to your balls smh.”
Cannon, who has 12 children with six women, didn’t immediately respond to the accusation. With Scott, the actor also shares a late son, Zen, who passed away from brain cancer at five months old in 2021.
In past interviews, Cannon has acknowledged feeling “spread thin.”
“Being a father of multiple kids, it’s always the biggest guilt on me…I don’t get to spend enough time with all my children,” he said in 2022.
Speaking to PEOPLE in March 2025, Cannon said he’s “pressing hold” on having more kids due to financial strain.
“I really don’t know. I’m being honest…the way my bank account is set up, I’m going to press hold on this 12 for right now.”
