Nick Cannon On Being Celibate: ‘I’m Going To See If I Can Make It To 2022’

Nick Cannon stopped by N.O.R.E. and DJ E.F.N.’s popular Drink Champs Podcast where he touched on several different topics throughout the more than hour-long interview.

But when it came to the topic of his ever-expanding family, Cannon admitted he’s trying out celibacy. When asked around the 45-minute mark, he says he’s trying to make it into the new year.

“I told y’all, I’m celibate right now. I’m going to see if I can make it to 2022,” the “Gigolo” rapper declared.

He recently opened up about his therapist, suggesting he take a break from having more children and practicing celibacy during an interview with Entertainment Tonight.

“My therapist says I should be celibate,” he told the outlet last month. “OK, give me a break bus. I’m [gonna] take a break from having kids.”

During that same interview, he touched on the possibility of having more children down the line, reiterating some he’s said many times: it’s in God’s hands. Cannon confirmed that while he doesn’t have any plans to add to his family right now, he’s not ruling it out.

Cannon is the father to Morocco and Monroe, 10, with Mariah Carey, Golden, 4, and Powerful, 8 months, with Brittany Bell, Zillion and Zion, 3 months, with Abby De La Rosa and Zen, 3 months, with Alyssa Scott.
