On Friday night, NBA champion Nick Young was arrested in Hollywood after things took a turn for the worse during a routine traffic stop.
According to TMZ, Young, better known as Swaggy P, was pulled over just before midnight for a traffic violation. However, some time during the stop, the 33-year-old refused to cooperate with officials, so he was taken in for obstruction of justice.
Although it remains unclear if Young was with anyone at the time of the incident, witnesses say he was taken out of his car, ordered against a wall and handcuffed, before he was taken into custody.
While further details remain unclear, TMZ reports that Young was booked in a nearby station and his car was impounded.
