Keonna Green, the mother of Nick Young’s 4 year old sone, does not feel any guilt over getting pregnant by Nick a second time.
If you have been a follower/reader of Baller Alert for a few years, you’ll know that we’ve covered Keonna and Nick’s relationship for quite some time now. Keonna and Nick have been in each other’s lives since High School. Back in 2013, while Nick was engaged to Olympic sprinter Carol Rodriguez, we received a Baller Mail from someone claiming to be a “friend” of Carol’s and spilling all her tea. This friend said that Nick had a baby on Carol a year prior and since then, the baby’s mother (Keonna) has been a nuisance. The Baller Mail even suggested that Nick was far more in love with Keonna than Carol. Eventually Carol and Nick break up and we begin to see a lot of Keonna and Nick Jr. at Nick Young’s games. Supposedly they had even began living together.
Fast forward to 2014, rumor had it that Iggy “stole” Nick from Keonna. In another blog post (CLICK HERE) it was revealed that Iggy knew Nick was with Keonna when they got together and she convinced Nick to dead that situation. Supposedly Keonna, at one point, called Iggy and told her to stay away from Nick but Iggy told Keonna she could see Nick if she wanted to. So much for their “woman to woman” talk.
Keonna tells Us Weekly in an exclusive interview, “A couple of months into them being an item, she was moving into the house, so I called her. When I was dropping my son off, we met in the living room. I didn’t want my son around somebody I’m uncomfortable with. I said, “Please, out of respect, don’t post photos of my son.” I didn’t want people thinking I’m not in his life. She was like, “I completely get it.” Reality set in that me and Nick were over. She was in the house I used to stay in. I cried on my way home.“
Now in 2016, Keonna is 22 weeks pregnant with Nick’s second child. Apparently she and Nick reconnected back in September 2015, three months after he became engaged to Iggy. “I can count how many people I’ve been with on one hand. And Nick was the person I thought was it for me,” Keonna tells Us Weekly. “When I went back that second time, I was thinking, This is it for me.”
Keonna goes on to recall the day she got pregnant, “It was last year, around September. We would take our son to Magic Mountain together. But sometimes Nick would say, “Oh, there’s too much traffic,” and he’d just play with Nicholas in his room. We got caught up in the moment and it just happened. I would be like, “Nick, you cannot be sloppy. You need to be honest [with Azalea].” He would say, “I don’t want to hear it.” I don’t know what was going on in his household, but me and Nick have lots of history. It wasn’t a secret on my end. I didn’t feel guilty because I was in love with a man, and I’m pretty sure I’m not the only woman.”
She also says that she considered telling Iggy herself, and tried to reach out, but never got a response.
Keonna says she does not feel any guilt over what happened because she doesn’t feel she is the cause of Nick and Iggy’s split. “I didn’t feel guilty. … I’m not the reason they separated. She found out what everyone else found out, according to what I’ve been told.”
Keonna and Nick are not intimate now, according to Keonna, but she says that she would have him back if he wanted.
