Another day, another pointless subtweet war between our favorite ladies, Cardi B and Nicki Minaj. This time, the beef seems to be over Spotify’s 50 Most Streamed Hip-Hop Albums list.Â
On Monday, the streaming platform shared the list, which confirmed Cardi B’s “Invasion of Privacy” was the most streamed female hip-hop album of all time. Well, Minaj didn’t take too kindly to the company failing to point out her own streaming accomplishments. She quickly reminded her fans that she was the most streamed female hip-hop act overall on the app. The “Super Bass” star then pointed out her many other victories, including her mixtape “Beam Me Up Scotty,” selling 80,000 copies within its first week on streaming platforms 12 years after its initial release. She also alluded to other artists’ paying blogs and outlets to share their music.
“I have to post it myself b/c I don’t come from the era of paying publications to post stats for me,” she replied to one Barb.
Well I have to post it myself b/c I don’t come from the era of paying publications to post stats for me. https://t.co/lNjLduJDqK

Cardi seemingly responded, but not with a list of stats. Instead, she simply threw out a tweet, letting her followers know that the list didn’t warrant such a profound response from her arch-nemesis.Â
“You know what it never was? That serious!” Cardi tweeted.Â
You know what it never was? That serious!

These two heavyweights likely won’t ever be friends, but can they at least get along for the sake of female unity? (Probably not!)
