Nicki Minaj took to social media Wednesday to let the world know that she and the City Girls have put their issues behind them and are ready to move forward.
Earlier today in an interview with the Morning Hustle Show, Nicki was asked about making music with the City Girls. She explained that at a point in time, she was interested in hopping on a song they did until old tweets from the City Girls talking negatively about Nicki resurfaced.
The tweets caused the “Moment For Life” rapper to change her mind. “It’s let go, but why would I work with somebody that doesn’t like me?” she explained.
As of Wednesday evening, it appears that they have agreed to put the past behind them. “Just had a great convo with @ThegirlJT & @YungMiami305. Let’s move on & make new memories y’all,” Nicki wrote on Twitter with a unicorn emoji.
