Nicki Minaj will introduce women to the lucrative world of sports betting as she enters into her new role as Global Ambassador of MaximBet.
The company, which is the sports gambling leg of Maxim, announced Nicki Minaj as “the First Lady of Sports Betting” on Tuesday. In addition to being the Global Ambassador of MaximBet, Nicki will also fill the role of Advisor to the Board of Directors and is an investor and stakeholder.
Also part of the deal, Minaj has been named the creative director of Maxim magazine. She will lend her “sexy, fun, and fashion-forward expression” not only to the betting arena but to the publication, which has been around since 1995.
MaximBet is considered a “lifestyle sports betting brand” that rewards players with unique and luxurious experiences. The “Super Bass” icon will work closely on exclusive merchandise, glamorous parties, and other components that’ll merge entertainment with sophisticated sports betting.
MaximBet CEO, Daniel Graetzer, welcomed Minaj to the team and praised her for her forthcoming contributions.
“Her role as a strategic advisor to MaximBet will be invaluable to us. She’s built one of the most powerful brands in the world, her own,” Graetzer said in a statement.
The Grammy-nominated rapper also shared several Instagram posts of her rocking a custom MaximBet swimsuit, giving fans a sneak peek of what’s to come.
The 39-year-old has been steadily growing her empire outside of being a musician. In March, she announced that she would soon be launching her own record label and management company. She even revealed that she has already begun building her roster of artists, which will be announced closer to the release of her highly anticipated album, nicknamed “NM5.”
