Nicki Minaj‘s press-on nails are on the way.
The day after Thanksgiving, Minaj was already back to work, prepping her loyal fan base for the forthcoming Pink Friday Nails. Minaj shared the link for the website on Twitter, and while customers cannot pre-order the nails, they can purchase passes that will guarantee them website access and products during the first three days of the January launch. According to the website, any funds applied to the passes can be used to purchase the nails.
While the actual look of the nails has not been revealed, Minaj dropped some details on Twitter about her new endeavor. She shared that she has contracted a nail tech to create designs similar to those she has worn. They will be available in several lengths, keeping those with smaller nail beds in mind. Minaj’s nail line was inspired by her not always having time to sit for hours getting her nails done. After the 2024 launch, Minaj hopes to partner with nail techs to expand her offering.
1. I needed them to be from short to the LONGEST length I wear
2. I needed them to be as pointy as the nails I wear. (Yes, We have ALL shapes).
I needed the DESIGNS to be the EXACT ones I wear.
So…as fate would have it, we hired my ACTUAL nail tech 💅🏽we’re in good hands 💅🏽 https://t.co/ON9X21o1mC

Also;
regarding my press-on nails…I have VERY small nail beds. So normally when ppl bring me the custom designed pressOns, they are like wayyyy too big & it just don’t hit the same. So it was important to me to have all sizes as well https://t.co/SyrnPPpsap

agree. I never thought I’d rock them. Seemed so corny. But idk if it’s having a baby or having a busy job but I just stopped having the patience to sit down for ANYTHING for that long anymore. And nails used to take 30 mins in da hood!!! Now?!?!! 2-3 hours!!! No ma’am. No sir. https://t.co/4tQJPl6S5m pic.twitter.com/2T59U0XdJn

Last September 2022, Minaj sat for an interview with JT for I-D Magazine. During that sit down, she shared her plans for a press-on line, though she didn’t give out too many details. On the Pink Friday Nails website, it seems that customers will be able to choose from silver, gold, rose, and pink options.
