Nicki Minaj is back on offense, and this time, she’s coming for Roc Nation with backup.
The rap queen recently co-signed explosive claims made by Demoree Hadley, daughter of Roc Nation CEO Desiree Perez, reigniting her long-running feud with the imprint.
Hadley, who is currently embroiled in a legal battle with her mother, spoke out in a recent interview about Roc Nation’s alleged role in what she describes as a targeted campaign against Minaj.
“They’ve abused her freedom of speech, they’ve abused her family, they’ve attacked her husband, they’ve attacked her child… It should really scare the American people,” she said.
The 27-year-old is suing Perez for allegedly having her involuntarily committed to a mental institution, and drew parallels between her own situation and Minaj’s. Minaj followed up with sharp words of her own on Twitter: “To the PMs who claim it wasn’t made clear to ur ugly a**es, hopefully Demoree’s MASSIVE & detailed page by page claim gets you all the way caught up.”
And she didn’t stop there.
“NEVER call me a liar. Never insinuate it either. Every single angel ever created fights for me at the mere MENTION of that word as it relates to me. Vengeance is the Lord’s. Be careful. No one who conspired on the wrong side will go unpunished for the role they played in this movie. I hope it was all worth it.”
Nicki’s beef with Roc Nation isn’t new. She has previously accused the company of trying to “tear” her family apart and suggested there’s a deliberate effort online to silence her and her fanbase. Meanwhile, Roc Nation has yet to publicly respond. Perez has countersued her daughter, challenging the claims and defending her reputation.
With legal drama unfolding and Nicki refusing to stay quiet, the heat between her and the label shows no signs of cooling off.
