Nicki Minaj Takes Shots at Shannon Sharpe, NFL and JAY-Z on “Banned From NO” Remix

Nicki Minaj had time today and used it to stir the pot.

On Tuesday, she surprised fans by jumping on the remix of Lil Wayne’s “Banned From NO,” just days after Tha Carter VI dropped without features from either her or Drake.

The absence of both Young Money stars sparked speculation online, with many wondering if something deeper was going on behind the scenes.

However the Barb herself dropped a few surprise bars, with one line in particular having social media in a chokehold: “If I send a pic of Shannon, you ain’t that Sharpe.”

She followed up on X to break it down. “If I send a pic of Shannon, you ain’t that sharp!!!!” she wrote.

“Yeah n*gga you thought I forgot that ‘Nicki who’ sh*t  you did?LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO j/k.” She added, “Ochocinco almost caught a strizzy just by being around yo crazy tail self.”

Nicki also fired shots at the NFL and JAY-Z for passing on Lil Wayne for the 2025 Super Bowl Halftime Show in his hometown of New Orleans. “NFL, fire some n*ggas and then call us!” she rapped.

The remix is her first collab with Wayne since Pink Friday 2 and gave fans the unapologetic Young Money energy they’ve been missing.

Maybe we will get a surprise remix with Drake next.
