This Monday, Nicki Minaj re-established Queen Radio with its first episode of 2020. The celebrity host talked about everything ranging from her opinions on the Prince leaving the Palace, why she’s never worked with Kendrick and even had surprise special guest, 50 Cent, talk” Power,” and his transition from music to the big screen plus she got the scoop on his new girlfriend, Jamira Haines.
“There’s a place for bad music; it’s television. It’s the biggest television show in the world, and you’ll be like, ‘Who is that?’ They got the big budgets,” said 50.
The rapper is responsible for early millennium hits like ‘Wanksta,’ ‘In Da Club,’ & ‘Many Men.’ He has also starred in major feature films like ‘Get Rich or Die Trying’ (2005), ‘All Things Fall Apart’ (2011) & ‘Den of Thieves’ (2018). But Nicki teased the cyberbully about his partner Jamira Haines and asked the key to their working relationship; he said, “It’s the listening. We all have baggage from previous situations, but I like her. She’s cool people.” 50 also has a new show, ‘For Life’ airing on ABC tonight at 10 pm EST. He even offered Nicki to star in one of his upcoming broadcasts.
In the meantime, Nicki Minaj has had a rough start in 2020 already. Recently, video surfaced, late last month of the ‘Megatron’ star and her husband, Kenneth Petty, getting into a verbal altercation with the Queen’s ex-boyfriend & rap star, Meek Mill at a West Hollywood clothing store. The two have been going at it on Twitter ever since, with Nicki even claiming Meek hit her during their relationship.
However, in the midst of marriage & quarrels with exes, Minaj weighed in on the situation at Buckingham Palace. The Prince and his new African American wife, Meghan Markle, moved out of the Royal Palace, when Markle, the first African-American to be married into the royal family, began being bullied for their interracial engagement.
“Kudos to Harry,” Nicki supported. “Real men always say, ‘Happy wife, happy life.’ It’s so attractive and turns me on. It’s like, put your woman first and make sure she’s happy. With what happened with Princess Diana, we don’t need a rerun. And if you’re being bullied in the media, then by God, he should support you in getting the f— up out of there.”
As far as musical collaborations go, a fan asked Nicki Minaj why she never worked with Kendrick Lamar. The Pink celebrity just stated, “He don’t wanna get washed on a record,” she joked before continuing, “He respects the craft of rap.”
The star released, ‘Yikes,’ last Friday; her first single of 2020.
