Just days after causing a stir with a series of outlandish tweets, Nicki Minaj is airing out her opinions on Apple Music’s Beats 1 radio.
The #Queen rapper switched the fourth episode of QueenRadio from its usual Thursday slot to Tuesday.
Minaj took a page from The Breakfast Club’s Donkey Of TheDay, and created some categories of her own. The rapper’s “Hoe Ni*ga of the Year” went to rapper Travis Scott.
“Because he’s out here selling clothes instead of music. What we’re not gonna do is have that Auto-Tune man selling f**king sweaters telling you he sold half a million albums, because he f**king didn’t. You stupid fuck. You got your f**king homeboy talking for you and you got your girlfriend selling tour passes. Stop it. Knock it the f**k off.”
Minaj also dubbed press giant Huffington Post “C*ck Sucker of the Year.”
Minaj did turn the page and give out a few positive awards. The “Queen” rapper ran down a list of previously dubbed queens which included #NormaniKordei and Harriet Tubman, and added on Patti LaBelle for this week’s show.
Just one day prior, Minaj compared her speaking out against music executives to fight for fairness and inclusiveness, to that of Harris Tubman leading a slave escape.
“#QueenRadio will honor her tmrw. She said she could’ve rescued more slaves had they known they were slaves. I fought for streaming services to count toward billboard when alotta ni**z stayed quiet,” Minaj tweeted Monday.
Minaj’s Queen Radio is set to air weekly on Apple Music. Anything else you would like her to discuss?
