Nicki Minaj was once again the victim of a swatting hoax, this time involving a false report of a shooting at her Hidden Hills mansion in Los Angeles.
Authorities confirmed that Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies responded to the home around 7 p.m. Wednesday night after a 911 caller claimed a Black woman had been shot at the property and that two suspects dressed in all black were still on the premises.
According to The Los Angeles Times, deputies arrived at the scene and found no signs of a crime or any injured individuals. No one was at the home at the time.
The Sheriff’s Department later confirmed that the incident was a swatting call.
This marks yet another alarming incident for the Grammy-nominated rapper, who’s no stranger to false emergency reports. In the summer of 2023, she was targeted with back-to-back swatting calls—first alleging child abuse and then a fake shooting report just weeks later, according to TMZ.
Swatting, a dangerous prank that sends police to someone’s home under false pretenses, continues to be a growing concern, particularly for high-profile figures. As of now, authorities have not released any information about who may have been behind the call.
Minaj has not publicly commented on the latest incident.
