Nicki Minaj is thinking global and not local with her latest release. The rapper teamed up with Colombian singer-songwriter Maluma and Lebanese singer Myriam Fares on “Tukoh Taka.”
The single serves as the latest addition to the official soundtrack of FIFA’s 2002 World Cup in Qatar.
The song features lyrics in three languages: English, Spanish, and Arabic. The title, “Tukoh Taka,” translates to “click clack.”
The song was released two days before the start of the historic soccer tournament, the first held in the Middle East. Two of the song’s collaborators, Maluma and Myriam Fares, will perform at the opening fan festival on Saturday.
J Balvin, Sean Paul, and Black Eyed Peas are some of the other acts set to perform throughout the tournament.
