Several individuals have been sent to the hospital following Monday’s shooting in Hollywood, Florida.
According to a report from CBS News Miami, nine individuals, including three kids, were shot in the 1200 block of North Boardwalk.
Police say that one person of interest is in custody, while another is still at large within the area or near the Margarita Hollywood Beach Resort.
Memorial Healthcare System spokesperson Yanet Obarrio Sanchez told NBC 6, “It is a fluid situation.”
He added that some of the victims were “a couple of minors.”
According to NBC 6, five of the victims were admitted to the trauma center at Memorial Regional Hospital for treatment.
WPLG Local 10 reported that police had apprehended one person and are seeking the second suspect, a male with dreadlocks who was last seen wearing a black short-sleeve shirt and camouflage shorts.
