Nipsey Hussle’s suspected killer has been charged with murder.
Eric Holder, 29, was arrested for fatally shooting Hussle this past Sunday, in front of the rapper’s Marathon Clothing store. In addition to murder, Holder was also charged by the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office with two counts of attempted murder and one count of possession of a firearm by a felon.
The shooting left 33-year-old Hussle dead and two others injured. Holder is suspected of being a part of a gang and allegedly had a dispute with Hussle prior to the shooting, according to Los Angeles Police Chief Michel Moore. Holder reportedly approached Hussle several times at the store before leaving and returning with a gun; however, officials do not believe the shooting was gang-related.
After the shooting, Holder ran into a nearby alley and took off in a waiting vehicle with a woman, police report. Two days later, he was arrested in Bellflower, California and later charged.
