Trey Songz will not face any charges stemming from his altercation with police at a Kansas City Chiefs playoff game in January.
Despite the incident being caught on video, Â the charges have been dropped due to insufficient evidence.Â
The incident started when Trey Songz reportedly refused to put on a mask while inside Arrowhead Stadium, even though COVID-19 protocols in place at the stadium required it. Songz was arrested for trespassing, resisting arrest, and assaulting a police officer.Â
The video appeared to show Trey Songz punching an officer and putting him in a headlock. The singer spent one night in jail before bonding out.
