Trey Songz will not face any charges stemming from his altercation with police at a Kansas City Chiefs playoff game in January.
Despite the incident being caught on video, the charges have been dropped due to insufficient evidence.
The incident started when Trey Songz reportedly refused to put on a mask while inside Arrowhead Stadium, even though COVID-19 protocols in place at the stadium required it. Songz was arrested for trespassing, resisting arrest, and assaulting a police officer.
The video appeared to show Trey Songz punching an officer and putting him in a headlock. The singer spent one night in jail before bonding out.
