Kanye and Ty Dolla Sign release new visuals for their “Talking/Once Again” collaboration with North West as a guest feature.

Following in her father’s footsteps as a rap star, North West cites, “It’s your bestie, Miss Miss Westie,” in the ‘Talking’ portion with Ye, as Ty and his daughter, Jailyn Griffin, hold down the ‘Once Again’ portion of the record. This record is just a preview of their three-part project, the first volume of which is expected to drop on February 9th. Ye took to Instagram to share the visuals, informing fans that direction was managed by the D’Innocenzo Brothers, Damiano and Fabio, with Matteo Coco on the cinematography.

In the video, North can be seen getting her hair braided, standing with her father matching in all black. “We gonna take over the year for another year/ It’s your bestie, Miss, Miss Westie/ Don’t tryna test me/ It’s gonna get messy,” she raps. About a minute and 23 seconds into the video, Ty takes over with ‘Once Again,’ rapping about how he hopes his daughter makes better choices than he did at her age and his desire, as a dad, for her to stop growing.

“I don’t know how I’m gonna tell her, but her dad’s just afraid/Of her choices, know that I’ve been through it/ I just hope I haven’t been the wrong influence,” he sings. “That’s why I gotta break the curses that were set for me/This is hard work working, this ain’t destiny/My motivation is just looking at my family tree.”

Ye and Ty Dolla Sign are expected to host their second album release party and listening experience for the first volume of Vultures on Thursday, February 8th, at the United Center in Chicago. According to Billboard, tickets sold out in seven minutes after going live. This event would follow behind their initial listening party that was held in Miami in December of 2023.
