NY Surgeon Says Wife Lived A Double Life As A High Society Prostitute

A millionaire New York spinal surgeon divorced his wife after finding out she lived a “secret life as a prostitute for wealthy men.”

The New York Daily News obtained a copy of the 264-page New York Supreme Court filing in which Han Jo Kim claims his wife, Regina Turner—a former beauty queen—lied about being with her girlfriends or traveling for work to provide sexual services to men for money instead.

Turner, 32, was raised in Connecticut and was the state’s beauty queen in 2011. She married Kim in 2015. Their Facebook pages show them on many trips around the world. The two lived in a $6.5 million apartment, The Sun reported.

Kim, a 41-year-old Manhattan surgeon, racked in more than $3 million in 2018. He learned of his wife’s infidelity when he saw messages from her to another man. He then subpoenaed her bank records and learned she made nearly $700,000 since 2015 but claimed she had no income.

A New Jersey property executive wrote his wife checks totaling $185,000, court records state. And a lightning designer paid her $116,000 over six years time span.

However, January court papers show Turner claimed she was financially dependent on her husband.

Kim’s attorney believes Turner “clearly committed material fraud upon Dr. Kim by concealing her sale of sexual services in exchange for money prior to the marriage” and that had he known of her secret life, he would have never married her.

“It remains inconceivable to plaintiff that given his substantial earnings as a spine surgeon, and his enormous generosity to the defendant, that defendant continued to sell sex for money during the marriage,” the filing said, according to the Daily News.

Kim said his wife lied about other things as well. When they met, she told him she was working on a fashion app being developed in China, but she was actually using it to visit other men. She also claimed that she studied chemistry at the University of Connecticut but decided to take a break to participate in the beauty pageant. Apparently, Turner had not even graduated high school.

The two settled their divorce outside of court last week.
