NYCHA Employee Suspended After Appearing Naked On Work Call [Video]

New York City Housing Authority official is in hot water after joining a work-related video call while naked and in bed with a woman.

After Wednesday’s incident, Alex Tolozano was suspended for 30 days without pay. An investigation has been opened, and the agency is beginning the administrative process for dismissal.

The Bronx-based administrative housing superintendent logged onto Microsoft Teams with 50 of his colleagues while naked. A woman could be seen in the bed with him. One of the other NYCHA employees began videotaping the conference call.

In a 17-second video of the incident posted to the internet, Tolozano’s co-workers can be heard saying, “So he’s laying in the bed.” Another participant yelled, “Oh my God!” when the woman’s face appeared.

The camera then cuts to a nude Tolozano, and everyone on the call begins to scream, “Oh My God! No!” The City reports that the call lasted for about two minutes during the workday.

“During the meeting, participants observed Alex Tolozano’s phone camera was on the screen for at least two minutes revealing that he was potentially engaged in inappropriate activity with another individual,” officials told the outlet.

He began working with the agency in 1988 and made $129,000 last year.

This is not the first time Tolozano has faced disciplinary action from the agency. He was suspended twice, once in 1995 and again in 2015, and reprimanded in 2014.

“Inappropriate activity, absconding from work, and time abuse are not tolerated at NYCHA and will be met with suitable consequences,” Barbara Brancaccio, NYCHA’s chief communications officer, said in an email. “Most importantly, NYCHA is working tirelessly to root out bad actors and create a culture of compliance, service, professionalism, and respect, and we will not allow this unacceptable behavior to deter us from our mission or discourage or demoralize our extraordinary workforce.”
