O.J. Simpson shared a video on twitter of him sharing his concerns about free agent NFL player Colin Kaepernick.
“I’m a guy that’s been through just about everything, and the one thing I’ve learned is that sometimes your friends,” O.J. said, adding, “and I don’t doubt these are your friends, but sometimes they can say and do things that aren’t in your best interests.”
“You’re an intelligent guy … maybe you should tell some of these friends that you can speak for yourself.”
This comes after it was announced that Kaepernick is set to do an NFL workout in Atlanta in front of Head Coaches and GM’s this Saturday. TMZ reported that the friends O.J. may be referring to have publicly said that the workout can be fraudulent, that it’s happening too late in the season, it’s being held on a Saturday, only three days notice was given, and it sounds “fishy.”
But O.J. seemed to be genuinely happy for Kaepernick as he ended the video by saying, “Go down to Atlanta and kick ass! There’s some NFL teams that I and everybody knows could use your skills.”
