Oscar winner Octavia Spencer is going all out for the children of Mississippi, and we’re talking all the way out.
The ‘Hidden Figures’ actress recently announced that she would be buying out a whole movie theater in an “underserved community” in Mississippi, with the efforts to provide hundreds of children with the opportunity to go see the ‘Black Panther’ film.
“I will be in MS when [Black Panther] opens. I think I will buy out a theater in an underserved community there to ensure that all our brown children can see themselves as a superhero. I will let you know where and when, Mississippi. Stay tuned.” she wrote in an Instagram post.

However, this isn’t the first time that Spencer has gifted others with free movie tickets. Last year, amid the release of her own film, ‘Hidden Figures’, she did the exact same thing.

‘Black Panther’ is set to hit theaters on February 16th. The film stars Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Forest Whitaker, and Angela Bassett, among others.
