Off-White x Air Force 1 “Desert Tan” Rumored To Arrive This Year

A new spin on the Off-White and Air Force 1 collaboration is on the horizon and is rumored to arrive this year.

The “Desert Tan” colorway is expected to hit stores sometime in 2023, leaving sneakerheads everywhere anxious to cop a pair. The tan sneaker originally surfaced online last year and is a bit more unique than its Off-White x AF1 predecessors. The latest releases under the partnership have leaned more towards the brighter side. This includes the likes of the Off-White AF1 Nike MCA University Blues, which is wrapped in a vibrant hue with shiny metallic Nike swoops. The Off-White x AF1 Lemonade is a burst of yellow, also including a metallic swoop that includes a stitched effect. The Desert Tan variation is a far cry from these, adding a more subtle option to the collection.

This newest rumored edition offers the Desert Tan laid across the entire sneaker. The Nike swoops are identical to Off-White AF1 before it, re-creating the same metallic and stitched combination. The classic “Air” logo is the only shade of black on the sneaker, as even the hang tag is a neutral color.

The late Off-White founder Virgil Abloh began working with Nike in 2018 to launch the popular sneaker collection. Though he passed away in 2021, his estate continues to work closely with the athletic company to keep the releases flowing.

Though nothing has been confirmed, the Desert Tan’s are expected to be released exclusively in stores in Qatar but will be available internationally on Nike.com and the SNKRS. An official release month has also remained under wraps.
