Offset has officially logged off. The rapper abruptly deactivated both his Instagram and X accounts after a viral tweet compared his son Wave’s braids to the hairstyle of Cardi B’s new boyfriend, NFL star Stefon Diggs.
The post featured side-by-side photos of Wave and Diggs rocking nearly identical braided styles, and social media quickly lit up with jokes and commentary. The comparison clearly didn’t sit well with Offset, who fired off two heated tweets before going silent online.
“Now when somebody die for playing with my son then call me the crash out,” he tweeted. Minutes later, he added, “Idc how I look trolling wit my kid ends bad.” Both messages were soon deleted along with his profiles.

Offset’s digital exit comes just days after Cardi B went public with her relationship with Stefon Diggs, posting romantic yacht photos and a video showing a room filled with roses. The braided look Diggs debuted during a Patriots practice instantly drew attention for its resemblance to young Wave’s signature style.
This isn’t the first sign of tension. Cardi recently called Offset out for not seeing their youngest daughter and accused him of lacking financial support for their children. The viral braid comparison might’ve been the last straw for the Atlanta rapper, prompting his sudden social media blackout.
As fans continue to dissect the drama, one thing’s clear—Offset is not here for anyone playing with his children, especially not on the internet.
