Offset Denies That He Was Partying With His Former Fling Amid His Relationship Drama With Cardi B

Offset denies spending time with Jade, 6ix9ine’s former girlfriend, following photos depicting them both at the same event.

During the weekend, Offset took to Instagram to dispute rumors suggesting he was in the company of Rachel “Jade” Wattley. This comes despite the circulation of photos online showing them both at the same venue, though they were partying separately. His response was prompted by a blog post featuring a side-by-side image of Offset and Jade at the shared club.

The former Migos rapper entered the comment section of The Neighborhood Talk, acknowledging that he was indeed present at the venue but clarified that he departed early.

“Cap. This was not my party I had a private event at coco,” he wrote. “I attended a public party at Playa after and was only there for 9 mins and the owner will be pulling the security footage. Tired of my name being attached to dumb sh*t! No where am I near this girl. I can’t control where ppl go it’s not my party.”

If you’re not aware, Jade happens to be one of the bartenders allegedly assaulted by Offset’s wife, Cardi B, during a 2018 strip club incident. Cardi was accused of assaulting two bartenders, Jade and Baddie Gi, at Angels Strip Club in Queens, N.Y., on August 29, 2018. The two victims claim that Cardi believed Jade had been involved with Offset and directed her entourage to hurl champagne bottles at them during the altercation.

In September 2022, Cardi pleaded guilty to two lesser charges related to the incident: third-degree assault and reckless endangerment. She received a sentence of 15 days of community service. Initially facing 12 charges, including two felonies, all 10 other charges were ultimately dropped.
