Migos rapper Offset made a heartfelt tribute to his fellow Migos brother, Takeoff. Offset spoke during last week’s funeral and broke his social media silence Tuesday with an Instagram post.
“Dear Take, The pain you have left me with is unbearable. My heart is shattered and I have so many things to say, but I can’t find the words.”
Offset previously changed his IG profile picture to a smiling picture of Takeoff. But had yet to say anything on social media before Tuesday.
“I’ve been going to sleep and waking up hoping that all of this is a dream, but it’s reality, and reality feels like a nightmare,” it continues.
Offset went on to say he wishes he could give him one last hug and perform one last time.
“I know someone with a soul like yours is in heaven now. I hope you can see how much we love you and miss you. You left a hole in my heart that will never be filled. Give me strength, give your brothers strength, give your family strength.”
In closing, Offset told Takeoff to throw him a “lil sign or a beautiful dream.”
“I love you forever, 4L and after.”
Cardi B–Offset’s wife–previously spoke about the tragic passing of Takeoff, saying in part: “The impact you had in this world was so considerable and we have struggled to grasp this tragedy. I am heartbroken but I am grateful for all the precious memories we got to share while you were here with us.”
