Offset Pushes for Joint Custody as Divorce from Cardi B Heats Up

Offset is making it clear that his marriage to Cardi B is over, and he wants fair custody of their children.

According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, the Migos star is seeking joint legal custody of their three kids. However, he acknowledges that Cardi’s home should be their primary residence. He’s also asking the court to define each parent’s child support obligations.

Beyond custody, the former QC rapper is requesting the division of their marital assets and believes they should each handle their own legal fees. Cardi previously slammed her estranged husband for trying to take away money that she’s worked hard for. The Bronx musician has also slammed him for failing to spend time with their three kids. However, it seems that Offset wants an equal split of everything.

Cardi B originally filed for divorce in August 2024, and aside from occasional holiday reunions, the two have been living separate lives. She is also staying busy with her music. She recently collaborated with DJ Khaled on “Higher Love” for “The Smurfs Movie” soundtrack and is working hard on her long-awaited sophomore album.

The Grammy Award winner has been reportedly getting close to NFL star Stefon Diggs, while Offset has been spotted with a few models.
