Offset has been ordered to cough up nearly $1 million to a car rental company for missing Bentley.
In May 2020, the Migos rapper rented a Bentley Bentayga from Los Angeles luxury car company Platinum Motorsports. Offset got the car for a few days for about $600/day. He then got to extend the deal until July. The rapper often got great deals because of his loyalty.
There weren’t any problems until Offset stopped making payments. Once Platinum Motorsports asked the rapper about the car, he responded, saying the car wasn’t in his possession.
According to police documents, Platinum Motorsports lost about $100,000 in revenue due to the missing Bentley. However, the rental company decided to take Offset to court.
On November 3rd, the lawsuit defaulted, and a judge ordered Offset to pay $950,027.35. The news came a month after Offset bought his wife, Cardi B, a home in the Dominican Republic.
