An Ohio woman has been convicted of typing up her boyfriend for sex and robbing him.
Ann Marie Bessie Eller, 38, was found guilty of second-degree robbery after attacking her boyfriend in his own home in November 2019.
The boyfriend told cops in Newark, Ohio, that he invited her over to his house, hoping to have sex after dating for only a few months.
“She tied him up to the futon in the bedroom, allegedly to have sex, and then, once she had him tied up, stole three firearms and his cellphone, which also held his bank card,” a criminal complaint stated.
He was stuck tied up for about 45 minutes before breaking free by using a lighter to burn through the rope.
Later, the boyfriend said the bank told him that his card was being used at different locations.
Police eventually traced the card back to Eller. She was originally charged with first-degree felony kidnapping, which was later dismissed.
She was sentenced to three years of probation on Thursday, according to the Newark Advocate.
