Authorities arrested a 33-year-old Ohio woman who they say met men for sex and then fatally drugged them to steal their possessions.
Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost announced a Franklin County grand jury had indicted Rebecca Auborn of Columbus on four murder charges.
Yost said Auborn met the men for sex and drugged them so that she could rob them.
“Don’t buy sex in Ohio — it ruins lives and could cost you yours,” Yost said in a press release.
Auborn now faces several felony charges, including four counts of murder, four counts of involuntary manslaughter, five counts of aggravated robbery, five counts of felonious assault, five counts of corrupting another with drugs, one count of tampering with evidence, and four counts of trafficking in drugs, PEOPLE reported.
Investigators linked Auborn with four overdoses and robberies that occurred between January and June. One man however survived an attempted overdose in December 2022, the Attorney General’s Office said.
The Attorney General has not disclosed information about what kinds of drugs were used on the men and how Auborn allegedly drugged them.
She is currently being detained in Franklin County jail.
