Rapper OJ Da Juiceman is back in legal trouble again.
On Monday, the 40-year-old rapper was arrested on drugs and gun charges in Kentucky. OJ was charged with possession of a handgun, possession of marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. OJ (whose real name is Otis Williams Jr.) was taken into custody and booked in the Hardin County Detention Center in Elizabethtown. There haven’t been any other details surrounding the case. However, the rapper is set to appear in court on May 13.
This isn’t OJ’s first run-in with the law. In 2015, the rapper and his manager were arrested on drug and gun charges in Tennessee. Authorities found firearms, marijuana, and a massive amount of ammunition inside his vehicle. OJ was charged with intent to distribute, gun possession, and unlawful crime with possession of a firearm.
OJ has not released a studio album since 2014.
His last album, ‘The Otis Williams Jr. Story,’ was released under Gucci Mane’s 1017 Records. OJ remained relevant in the music world through a series of mixtapes. However, the majority of his tracks have been released through his independent label, 32 Entertainment. Most recently, OJ released his tape ‘Alaska n Atlanta 3’ last year in July.
