OJ Da Juiceman Reportedly Faints from Low Blood Sugar Weeks After Jail Medical Emergency

Atlanta rapper OJ Da Juiceman is back out of custody after spending several weeks in jail following his March arrest. While his legal issues are ongoing, his primary focus is now on his recovery and his music career.

During his time behind bars, the rapper experienced a serious medical emergency related to his Type 1 diabetes, which required him to be transported to Grady Memorial Hospital for urgent treatment. His management team has been vocal about the incident, arguing that his health was put at unnecessary risk during his incarceration.

“While in custody, OJ suffered a serious medical episode related to his Type 1 diabetes,” his representatives stated, adding that he is now “doing perfectly fine on the outside now that he’s able to receive his proper insulin injections.”

Despite the challenging circumstances, the artist is not hitting the brakes. According to his manager, Rueben Wood, OJ Da Juiceman was already working on new music prior to his arrest, and fans can expect those tracks to be released in the near future. He is also planning to return to the stage for live performances in the coming days.

The rapper’s legal team continues to challenge the charges against him, which stem from an alleged road-rage incident involving a Georgia State Patrol officer earlier this year. A sworn affidavit from a witness has been submitted, contesting the police account and suggesting the rapper was not the driver of the vehicle at the time of the reported confrontation.
