A video is circulating social media following a high school fundraiser that allegedly involved students licking toes.
The footage has gone viral and it’s got parents upset.
An investigation has been launched at Deer Creek High School in Oklahoma after several students appeared on video lying on their stomachs and licking peanut butter off the toes of other students.
Some kids are seen lying down on the basketball court while others are laid back, kicking their feet up and letting them lick away, TMZ reported.
The video has sparked outrage online with people slamming organizers for allowing something like this to go down.
Oklahoma State Superintendent Ryan Walters posted a tweet letting his followers know his agency would be investigating exactly what went down.
Deer Creek High defended itself against the criticism, saying in a statement that all the students involved volunteered to participate and no faculty or staff members were involved in this particular game.
The school also pointed to the more than $150k they say they raised for a local charity.
Thoughts?
This is disgusting. We are cleaning up this filth in Oklahoma schools. Our agency is investigating. https://t.co/XdWGFy3Hc2
