On September 14, 1999, Russell Tyrone Jones, better known as Ol’ Dirty Bastard, released his second and final solo album, ‘N**** Please’.

Within the first week of its release, the album debuted at #10 on the Billboard 200 charts with 93,000 copies sold. After only three months, the album became certified gold by the RIAA.

From 1992-1995, ODB was a member of the iconic rap group #WuTangClan.
With two successful albums and chart-topping singles like “Got Your Money,” ODB quickly established himself as one of the most authentic emcees of his time.

In 2004, ODB died from a drug overdose just two days before his 36th birthday. His third album was recorded before his death but remains unreleased.
