A 69-year-old man has been charged with criminal sexual conduct for allegedly assaulting a 14-year-old girl at a Minnesota nudist colony earlier this year.
According to reports, Steven Wicklund appeared in court last week for sexually assaulting the teen at Oakwood Club in July.
Reports say that the girl was brought to the “family-friendly” nudist colony by her grandparents, where she encountered Wicklund, a supposed “family friend.”
Despite a no-sex policy, the nudist colony provides non-clothing activities, where Wicklund allegedly engaged in inappropriate touching with the girl, claiming it was “fine and normal.”
Wicklund allegedly placed the girl’s hand on his genitals after she told him to stop. He is also accused of sending sexually explicit texts and requesting naked photos of her and her friends.
An investigation was launched shortly after the girl’s mother discovered explicit text messages, which she turned over to police.
One of the text messages read: “Have you been masturbating or having sex with your girlfriend?”
