Despite mounting threats of legal retaliation over her tell-all book and tour, Omarosa Manigault Newman is refusing to back down. In fact, the former White House aid just released another secret recording – this time, implicating Trump’s daughter-in-law in a bribery scheme.
The tape was exclusively broadcasted on MSNBC, which exposed a secret conversation between Omarosa and campaign official Lara Trump. On the tape, Lara, Eric Trump’s wife, can be heard offering the former reality star $180k to work on Trump re-election campaign, after her release from her White House position.
But, according to the recording, there were a few strings attached, including a non-disclosure agreement – which she said she didn’t not accept.
“It sounds a little like, obviously, that there are some things you’ve got in the back pocket to pull out,” Lara said on the tape. “Clearly if you come on board the campaign, we can’t have…” as she encourages Omarosa to keep things on a positive note.
According to NBC News, the tape was recorded on December 16, 2017, just days after Omarosa was removed from her position, in an attempt to “buy my silence, to censor me, and to pay me off.”

“The only thing that we have to consider, where we’re talking salary as far as the campaign is concerned, is that, as you know, everything is public,” Lara continued in another clip of the recordings. “And that all the money that we raise and that pays salaries is directly from donors, small-dollar donors for the most part. So, I know you, you were making 179 at the White House. And I think we can work something out where we keep you right along those lines.”

This is the fourth recording Omarosa has released in the wake of her firing, “Every time the Trump people challenge me, I bring the receipts,” she said, revealing that she would release more if need be.
