Just hours after Democrat Doug Jones won over Trump-endorsed Republican candidate Roy Moore in the Alabama Special Election, Omarosa has resigned to “pursue other opportunities.”

According to The Hollywood Reporter, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders revealed the news, adding that the resignation will be effective on Jan. 20.

Omarosa served as Trump’s Director of Communications, just 13 years after meeting the Celebrity-in-Chief on his reality show “The Apprentice.”
