Police are investigating after three people were shot inside an upscale Miami Beach nightclub early Sunday. One person was killed, and two others were injured in the shooting.
Police received a call around 4 a.m. that gunfire had erupted at 235 23rd Street. That is the address listed for the Gala nightclub.
Upon arrival, police located three victims suffering from gunshot wounds. All of the victims were taken to the hospital. Two female victims are expected to recover.
A man was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Unit, where he succumbed to his injuries.
None of the victims have been identified.
Investigators have released a motive for the shooting and have not said if they have zeroed in on any suspects in the shooting.
