Courtney Clenney, the OnlyFans model who fatally stabbed her boyfriend Christian “Toby” Obumseli in a Miami luxury condo, has been arrested for murder, according to the Miami Herald.
The outlet reports Clenney was taken into custody on Wednesday in Hawaii and will soon be extradited to Miami, where she’ll face a second-degree murder with a deadly weapon charge for the April stabbing.
The 26-year-old’s defense attorney Frank Prieto confirmed Clenney’s arrest and said she’s been in rehab in Hawaii for substance abuse and post-traumatic stress disorder.
“I’m completely shocked, especially since we were cooperating with the investigation and offered to voluntarily surrender her if she were charged,” Prieto said. “We look forward to clearing her name in court.”
The arrest comes following a months-long investigation into the incident where the OnlyFans model, who also goes by Courtney Tailor, fatally stabbed her then-boyfriend Christian “Toby” Obumseli during a domestic dispute. Her lawyers argue she acted in self-defense. Obumseli’s relatives have called for Clenney’s arrest ever since the April 3 stabbing.
