According to close friends of Winfrey, the host’s closest friends have been trying to push her to run for president in 2020. Although Winfrey has not made her mind up about running, “Oprah for President” was the main headline on Monday morning.

Winfrey’s profound, thought-provoking Golden Globe acceptance speech sparked a wave of support for the possibility of Winfrey’s presidential campaign. Even her longtime partner, Stedman Graham fueled the rumors with a statement after the speech, saying, “It’s up to the people. She would absolutely do it.”
