Back in February 2012, Los Angeles Lakers star Jordan Hill was charged with felony assault after his ex-girlfriend Garlene Luna claimed he punched and choked her during an argument.
Jordan pled no contest to the charges. As punishment, Jordan got a $500 fine and one year deferred sentence. In return, Darlene got Gloria Allred as her lawyer and filed a civil suit.
TMZ reports:
Now, we’ve learned Luna has officially DROPPED her lawsuit — with prejudice — which means she can never refile against Hill for the incident ever again … usually a telltale sign of a settlement.
We reached out to Allred and asked about a possible settlement — to which she replied, “The matter has been amicably resolved.”
We reached out to Hill’s lawyers for comment — so far, no word back.
Seems like the NBA is trying to clear up their issues now.
