Earlier this year FSU QB Jameis Winston was accused of rape. He was never charged for the crime and was cleared in an FSU code of conduct hearing. After last night’s loss against Oregon at the Rose Bowl, Winston apparently had to deal with it all over again, after members of the opposing team heckled him.
The players, including #36 Kani Benoit and #86 Torrodney Prevot, were celebrating their win and in the tackiest fashion, started chanting “no means no” while giving the FSU tomahawk chop. Oregon head coach has since issued a statement on the boys’ behavior saying, “We are aware of the inappropriate behavior in the postgame,” Helfrich said … “This is not what our program stands for, and the student-athletes will be disciplined internally.”
I’d like to see what he intends to do. If they were going to make jokes, at least joke about the crab legs, not a rape case.
