Oreo announced it is releasing a new line of frozen products, called Oreo Frozen Treats.
But unlike other cookies and cream products, Oreo’s treats will serve up an authentic Oreo cookie taste. They use a creme-flavored base and are filled with pieces of real Oreo cookies.
- Oreo Bars feature a creme-flavored base packed with Oreo cookie pieces and then dipped in a coating of crushed Oreo wafer pieces.
- Oreo Cones feature a chocolate cone filled with a creme-flavored base packed with Oreo cookie pieces and dipped in crushed Oreo wafer pieces.
- Oreo Sandwiches feature a creme-flavored base mixed with Oreo cookie pieces, sandwiched between two large Oreo cookie wafers.
- Oreo Tubs will come in both 48-oz and 14-oz size tubs of a frozen dessert featuring a creme-flavored base with Oreo cookie pieces packed into a scoopable tub.
The Oreo Frozen Treats are only available in select stores for the time being. They will be rolled out to grocery stores beginning in March.Â
The March timeline is fitting for the cookie, which is celebrating 110 years on March 6.
